Washington, D.C.—Today, Congressman Joe Neguse announced that his request for federal funding to build a Search and Rescue Training Center and Vehicle Storage Facility in Frisco has been included in the House appropriations bill. The current facility in Frisco is a dilapidated structure that lacks adequate heat, space for vehicles and equipment and offers no appropriate training space.
Washington, D.C.—Today, Congressman Joe Neguse announced that his request for $138,557 in federal funding to build an Emergency Operations Center (EOC) in Gilpin County has been included in the House appropriations bill. A permanent EOC in Gilpin County will allow for quicker emergency responses which translate to better outcomes for both the first responders and the communities they serve.
In total, Congressman Neguse secured over $6.5 million in funding for community projects in his district to be included in the end of year spending bill.
Washington, D.C.—Today, Congressman Neguse announced that $1 million in federal funding for the construction of the Clear Creek County Collaborative Care Center will be included in this year’s House appropriations bill. The project, based in Idaho Springs, Colorado, will help centralize health care for Clear Creek County.
In total, Congressman Neguse secured over $6,5 million in funding for community projects in his district to be included in the end of year spending bill.

Washington D.C.— Today, Representatives Joe Neguse, Alexandria-Ocasio Cortez, Judy Chu, Marcy Kaptur, Bobby Rush and Senators Ron Wyden, Chris Coons, and Ed Markey led a letter signed by over 80 lawmakers urging inclusion of the Civilian Climate Corps in the final budget reconciliation deal. Initial reporting of the Senate’s framework for a deal notes general support for the concept, but the final funding and details will be agreed upon in the coming weeks.
