House Litigation Task Force
As a former House prosecutor in the second impeachment trial of President Trump, and as a member of the House Judiciary Committee, Congressman Neguse has worked to defend our democracy and our constitution. Today, he serves as the Chairman of House Democrats’ Litigation Task Force, which has challenged unconstitutional and unlawful executive orders and agency actions, and worked to protect and defend the American people. Oversight Committee Ranking Member Robert Garcia and Judiciary Committee Ranking Member Jamie Raskin serve as Co-Chairs of the Task Force, which includes 45 Members of Congress from across the House Democratic Caucus.

Countering Trump’s Directives:
As Chair of the Task Force, Congressman Neguse has worked with colleagues to adopt an all-hands-on-deck approach to combatting unlawful executive orders and agency actions initiated by the Trump administration. This has included the filing of multiple amicus briefs, introduction of legislation, and more.
