I am proud to represent Colorado’s 2nd Congressional District in Congress. Please know that members of my staff and I are committed to serving all individuals and families that call our communities home. We are here to help and can provide support with federal agencies, including help with Social Security and Medicare benefits, veterans’ benefits, military service issues, passport or visa problems, housing matters, IRS issues, and more.

“We contacted Congressman Neguse’s office to assist with expediting a passport for our daughter. She is taking a gap year before starting college. She will be traveling to New Zealand. During the process of completing the NZ work/holiday visa we realized that the requirements for passport expiration exceeded when her passport expired. It needs to extend 3 months after the 1 year visa. In order to even apply for the visa, we needed a renewed passport to even finish the application. 
 
With the help of Congressman Neguse’s office, [Constituent Caseworker] realized our time crunch and was able to arrange an appointment to get our daughter's passport in person so that we can finish the visa application and get her on her way. It was very helpful and much appreciated.”

“I had a passport issue that was taking months for it to issue. I spent approximately 9 hours with the passport office and was unable to get any appointments. I showed up to the Passport Agency only to be turned away. This frustrating, stressful, hopeless experience made me give up and nearly cancel my flight. 
 
Through my last attempt, I contacted the office of Joe Neguse. While I was on hold for 2 hours at the Passport Agency, I received an email from Joe Neguse and did not respond since I was trying to talk to the Passport Agency again. [Constituent Caseworker] then went above and beyond and called me personally and booked an appointment at the fully booked Denver Passport Agency to pick up a passport the same day. They told me it would take about 3 months and [Constituent Caseworker] was able to get it in a day. I was blown away that the office of Joe Neguse cared. 
 
The support, sympathy, and care I received from [Constituent Caseworker] was truly something I will never forget. Thank you so much for all that your office does. This truly means a lot to me and I will be sure to spread the word. Thank you for getting things done and for caring for your citizens.”
