Washington D.C.— Today, Congressman Joe Neguse announced that Colorado’s Regional Transportation District (RTD) will receive $53,240,645 in funding from the American Rescue Plan to support day-to-day operations, cleaning and sanitization and maintaining critical staffing levels. RTD is one of 35 recipients in 18 states to benefit from this round of transit funding from the American Rescue Plan.

The $53,240,645 will be used to support day-to-day operations, cleaning and sanitization and staffing level maintenance, according to Neguse.
