Introduced by Representatives Abigail Spanberger (D-VA), Dusty Johnson (R-SD), and Chip Roy (R-TX), the bill requires Members of Congress and their families to place their investments, like individual stocks, in a blind trust during their tenure in Congress—effectively banning Members of Congress from trading individual stocks.
