Rep. Neguse Issues Statement on the Recent Violence in the West Bank

Washington, DC – Today, Congressman Joe Neguse issued the following statement on the recent violence in the West Bank:

"I am deeply disturbed by the alarming surge of violence in the West Bank, and it is with great concern that I express my strong condemnation of the violence that has occurred, including the deadly acts of Palestinian terrorism and murder of several Israelis, and retaliatory attacks by Israeli settlers against Palestinian civilians and infrastructure. These acts of violence are utterly unacceptable.

I join the State Department in calling upon both Israel and the Palestinian Authority to prevent further loss of life, prioritize the safety of innocent civilians, and ensure that those responsible for these horrific attacks are held accountable for their actions.”
