The series of bills will significantly increase investments to tackle wildfires and fund resiliency and mitigation projects for communities impacted by the recent rise in Western wildfires.

Lafayette, CO — Today, Congressman Joe Neguse and U.S. Senators Michael Bennet and John Hickenlooper welcomed news from the Colorado Division of Insurance that several homeowners’ insurance companies have agreed to extend additional living expenses (ALE) coverage for Marshall Fire survivors for up to 24 months for policyholders who only had 12 months of coverage.

Lafayette, CO — Today, Congressman Joe Neguse announced that the Eagle County School District will receive a significant grant from the U.S. Department of Education to support school-based mental health programs in the area. As part of the School-Based Mental Health Grant Program, the school district will receive $785,304 for the coming year. It is anticipated that the grant will be extended for a total of five years.
