Washington D.C.—Today, Representatives Joe Neguse and Kelly Armstrong sent a bipartisan letter to Appropriators in Congress urging inclusion of specific language in the upcoming FY2022 Labor-HHS appropriations bill that would prohibit the Department of Education from withholding funding to higher education institutions that are participating in cannabis research.

Washington D.C.— Today, Congressman Joe Neguse, a member of the Congressional Black Caucus, launched “Get Out the Vaccine” Week May 1st through 8th to encourage black Coloradans to get vaccinated. Congressman Neguse, alongside Colorado lawmakers, is promoting vaccine opportunities across the state and encouraging Coloradans to make an appointment or walk-in at sites where walk-ins are accepted. The initiative is part of the Congressional Black Caucus’s effort to promote vaccine equity, CBC members are launching similar initiatives across the United States this week.
