Washington D.C.— Today, Congressman Joe Neguse and Congressman Doug Lamborn unveiled the HUBS for Veterans Act, bipartisan legislation to support local “network hubs” which streamline access to essential resources for veterans, servicemembers, and their families. The legislation, led by Senator Bennet and Mike Crapo (R-Idaho) in the Senate, would authorize a five-year pilot program to provide matching grant funds to non-profit organizations that offer access to multiple, wraparound services from one source, or “network hubs.”

Washington D.C.— Today, Congressman Joe Neguse unveiled bipartisan, bicameral legislation to expand access to universal broadband. Led by Neguse in the House, the Reforming Broadband Connectivity Act, is the companion to Senate legislation originally introduced by Senators Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) and John Thune (R-SD). The Act directs the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to improve funding for the Universal Service Fund (USF), expanding access to broadband and other telecommunications services.

The Clean Cooking Support Act reinforces the U.S. government’s commitment to spurring the adoption of clean cookstoves around the world and seeks to take a whole-of-government approach to address household air pollution.

Joe Neguse announced that Colorado will receive $716,509,999 in new federal funding under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law to create good-paying jobs for Coloradans improving roads and bridges across the state. This is the first round of funding under the five years of federal investment in Colorado highways authorized by this new law.
