Washington, DC— Today, Congressman Joe Neguse announced that Colorado will receive its first $54 million to upgrade public transit systems under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. The funding, administered by the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Transit Administration, is the first round of a five-year $917 million investment in Colorado public transit that will cut down on commute times, reduce emissions, and support good-paying transit jobs across the state.
