Washington, D.C.—Congressman Joe Neguse has secured  $275,000 in federal funding for the Boulder Strong Resource Center, and $275,000 to support CU Boulder’s Rural Partnership Outreach Program. The Boulder Strong Resource Center began offering mental health services to the greater Boulder community in the wake of the March 22 mass shooting that took place in Boulder. They offer a variety of trauma-recovery, therapy, and other mental health resources.

Washington, D.C.—This week, Congressman Joe Neguse, Congressman Ed Perlmutter and Congressman Jason Crow secured $2 million in federal funding to create a multidisciplinary Domestic Violence High Risk Team in Adams County. The Domestic Violence team would provide comprehensive services to victims of domestic violence, including shelter, legal aid, and emergency health services.

Washington, D.C. — On the one-year anniversary, Congressman Joe Neguse announced that the American Rescue Plan has delivered over $516 million to 73 Colorado colleges and universities in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Washington, D.C.—This week, Congressman Joe Neguse secured $358,000 in federal funding to support wildfire risk reduction efforts in Jefferson County. The funds would support fuel reduction operations across 85 acres that would mitigate wildfire risk and help protect local and regional water supplies.

Washington, D.C.—This week, Congressman Neguse secured $138,557 in federal funding to support the Gilpin County Emergency Operations Center. Gilpin County is a small rural community with limited resources. Currently they are using an EOC-in-a-box concept, the setup of which takes valuable time and energy away from response efforts. Having a permanent location for emergency support coordination will save time, allow for more effective responses, and, ultimately, produce better post-disaster outcomes for the community.

Washington, D.C.—This week, Congressman Joe Neguse secured $1 million in federal funding to help revive and restore the historic Pulliam Community Building in Loveland. The funding contributes to efforts by the City of Loveland to renovate the community building allowing it to serve as a key shelter and resource distribution center during wildfires and other disasters and be a magnet for economic activity downtown, as a place to host concerts, conventions and other attractions.
