Washington, D.C. — Congressman Joe Neguse announced today his introduction of the STEM Pathways Through College Act to support equitable access to science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) collegiate coursework and degrees. This bill increases the number of students offered high-quality STEM advanced coursework, supports students in reducing college costs, and improves postsecondary credit transfers by allowing students to earn college credit or an industry credential while in high school.

“Today’s decision by the Supreme Court to overrule Roe v. Wade is deeply disappointing. The ruling, which departs from nearly fifty years of legal precedent, will deprive countless women across the country of the freedom to make deeply personal reproductive health decisions.”

This comes just days after the Supply Chain Security Training Act, the Congressman’s proposal to revise best practices for supply chain risk management, was signed by the President.

Washington, D.C.— Congressman Joe Neguse, Chair of the U.S. House Subcommittee on National Parks, Forests and Public Lands, is pushing to increase investments for the Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) in fiscal year 2023. In a bipartisan letter addressed to the Subcommittee on Interior, Environment, and Related Agencies, Congressman Neguse requested an investment of $450 million in discretionary funds, in addition to mandatory LWCF funding to address the numerous ready-to-go project opportunities.
