The caucus, launched in late June, is dedicated to restoring Congress’s constitutionally-mandated authority over matters of war and peace.
Washington, D.C. — Today, Congressman Neguse signed onto H.R. 1571, the Debt Free College Act of 2019, bicameral legislation, led by Representative Pocan (WI-02) in the House of Representatives, aimed at reversing the student debt crisis and addressing the rising costs of higher education in the United States.
Washington D.C. — Congressman Neguse has passed an amendment on the House floor to ensure robust funding for the Postal Service Fund. The provision will be included in the Fiscal Year 2020 Financial Services legislation. The Postal Service Fund provides additional funding to the revenue received from its customers to cover the costs of free mail for the blind as well as overseas funding.

Washington D.C.— Today, Congressman Neguse announced a $3,987,750 million grant from FEMA which will be delegated to rebuild the Lower Beaver Brook Dam. This grant will fund the replacement of a highly hazardous 114-year-old rockfill embankment dam with a new concrete gravity dam.
Washington D.C.— Today, Congressman Neguse voted against the Senate’s insufficient humanitarian aid legislation, which, unlike the bill passed earlier in the week from the House of Representatives, does not include standards of care for children at the border or establish restrictions to prevent funds from going towards child separation.
