Congressman Neguse to Hold 6th Service Town Hall at A Precious Child in Broomfield

January 22, 2020

Broomfield, C.O.— Congressman Joe Neguse will hold his 6th service town hall at A Precious Child in Broomfield on January 25th. Congressman Neguse launched the first-of-its-kind service town hall initiative in March of 2019 and has held events at Bridge House Boulder, Rocky Mountain National Park, Boulder Shelter for the Homeless, Larimer Humane Society and Broomfield FISH since then. The event on Saturday will be the Congressman’s 4th town hall this year and the first service town hall of 2020. The initiative provides a unique opportunity to partner with local nonprofits throughout the district and encourage greater civic and community engagement from attendees of the town hall events.

“The success of our service town hall initiative has been truly heartening. I am constantly inspired by community residents who come out to get involved in the political process while also serving their fellow Coloradans.” said Congressman Neguse. “I look forward to partnering with A Precious Child to draw community attention to the resources and opportunities children need to succeed.”

A Precious Child provides children in need with opportunities and resources to empower them to achieve their full potential. Volunteers on Saturday will work at the organization’s Donation Center to help process incoming community donations and prepare them for families in the community.
