Congressman Neguse Applauds Governor Polis’s State of the State Address

Washington D.C.— Today, following Governor Jared Polis’s 2nd State of the State Address, Congressman Joe Neguse issued the following statement in support of the Governor’s leadership in his first year in office to position Colorado as a leader for clean energy and innovative healthcare solutions, as outlined in his annual address:

“In his state of the state address this morning, Governor Polis shared a bold vision for Colorado, one that I look forward to working with him and other lawmakers on to continue to expand opportunity for all. I applaud Governor Polis’s efforts this past year to invest in education and lower the cost of healthcare, and his efforts to position Colorado as a leader in the fight to combat climate change.”

“The bipartisan reinsurance program signed in May in particular is bringing health care savings to the 2nd Congressional District and we are seeing tangible impact for constituents like Glenn in Summit County, whose powerful story the Governor shared today.
