Congressman Joe Neguse Responds to the State of the Union

Washington D.C. — Congressman Joe Neguse, who represents Colorado’s 2nd Congressional District and serves as a member of the House Democratic Leadership team issued the following statement after President Biden’s State of the Union Address: 

“House Democrats and President Biden have worked together to deliver real results for the American people, and we’ve made historic progress in pursuing these goals – passing legislation to lower costs, create better-paying jobs, and build safer communities. Now, as President Biden said, it’s time to finish the job.

“The President shared a clear, hopeful and compelling message this evening, offering real solutions to grow the economy for everyday Americans, expand access to healthcare, and combat gun violence. If the progress made in the past two years is any indication, House Democrats are ready to work to ensure that our nation’s best years are ahead of us – not behind.”
