Joe Neguse visits Gilpin

The event included appearances by CD 2 Congressman Neguse, State Board of Education At Large candidate Kathy Plomer, Colorado SD 8 candidate Dylan Roberts and HD 49 House Representative Judy Amabile.

Local candidates for office: Susan Berumen for county commissioner, Sahari McCormick for county clerk and recorder and April Nielsen for county assessor also spoke at the event.

The event featured tributes to the victims and survivors of 9/11 and to those who risked all to help others in need on that fateful day. They serve as models to those who wish to protect our democracy with their selfless service and sacrifice.
