Washington, D.C. — Today, President Biden signed Congressman Joe Neguse’s Bankruptcy Threshold Adjustment and Technical Corrections Act and State and Local Government Cybersecurity Act of 2021 into law. This comes just days after the Supply Chain Security Training Act, the Congressman’s proposal to revise best practices for supply chain risk management, was signed by the President.
The lawmakers are pushing for an increase in sustainability amidst reports stating the U.S has a national recycling rate of only 32%.

Washington, D.C.— Congressman Joe Neguse, Chair of the U.S. House Subcommittee on National Parks, Forests and Public Lands, is pushing to increase investments for the Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) in fiscal year 2023. In a bipartisan letter addressed to the Subcommittee on Interior, Environment, and Related Agencies, Congressman Neguse requested an investment of $450 million in discretionary funds, in addition to mandatory LWCF funding to address the numerous ready-to-go project opportunities.
A recent outbreak at the Cañon City holding facility resulted in the deaths of 145 federally-protected wild horses.
