Washington D.C.—The U.S. House of Representatives has approved a major comprehensive infrastructure plan—the Moving Forward Act—a $1.5 trillion plan to invest in America’s infrastructure, including funds for road and highway repairs, like I-70 and I-25, expansion of rural broadband and clean energy and investments in affordable housing.
The Safe Helicopters Now Act would provide a tax credit in order to retrofit emergency helicopters with safer fuel systems.
The amendment requires a report on how the building codes and standards used by FEMA consider climate resiliency.
The amendment calls for the investment and modernization of federal labs
The Save Affordable Housing Act protects the affordability commitment by the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit in order to ensure access to affordable housing.
