Washington D.C.—Today, Congressman Joe Neguse announced FEMA has authorized federal funds to help fight Boulder County’s Calwood fire which has grown to over 3,000 acres near Jamestown. The fire grew rapidly today, threatening 500 homes, 750 other buildings and has mandatory evacuations in place for approximately 1,000 people.

Middle and high school students heard from the panel and were then able to present their ideas to coders and engineers in smaller breakout rooms, while also receiving tutoring from the experts.
