Dear Neighbor, This past week I’ve been back in Colorado reconnecting with the communities that make up Colorado’s 2nd Congressional District—both new and old! And we’ve had plenty to catch-up on. I also was excited to announce a series of funding allocations that will benefit our state.
Dear Neighbor, Last week I was honored to attend the President’s State of the Union Address. The President highlighted key examples of how my colleagues and I in Congress have worked together to deliver real results for the American people. We’ve made historic progress while pursuing these goals, passing legislation to lower costs, create better-paying jobs, and build safer communities.
Dear Neighbor, I am excited to announce that this week I was elected to serve as Ranking Member of the Subcommittee on Federal Lands. As some of you may be aware, Colorado’s 2nd Congressional District is made up of nearly 60% public lands!
Dear Neighbor, This week began with tragedy, as two mass shootings claimed the lives of victims in Monterey Park and Half Moon Bay, California. We will continue to send our sincerest condolences to these communities and to the families who lost loved ones at the hands of this senseless violence.
Dear Friends, It’s been a wonderful week back in Colorado’s 2nd Congressional District – from Lyons to Estes Park, and the newest parts of our district like Longmont and more, it has been great to visit with so many members of our community!
Dear Friends, It may have taken until nearly 2:00 a.m., but last Friday, at the U.S. Capitol, I was finally sworn-in into the 118th Congress! It is truly a privilege and an honor to represent the great state of Colorado in the United States House of Representatives.
Dear Friends,
Bob Fuchigami was just 11 when his family was ordered to leave their home with no explanation of their destination. Our Evergreen neighbor and constituent would go on to spend three years unjustifiably imprisoned at the Amache Incarceration Site in Southeast, Colorado.
Dear Friends,
Small businesses are at the heartbeat of our local economies and our communities. As small business owners across the Second District continue to rebuild from the COVID-19 pandemic and devastating wildfires in our communities, my office has been hard at work to expand access to government resources to help all business owners thrive and grow.
Dear Friends,
