Dear Neighbor, As we continue our summer stretch of legislative action, I am proud to report that over the past two weeks my office has been hard at work introducing bills of importance, convening new bipartisan caucuses, and taking action on issues that matter most to the hardworking folks of Colorado’s 2nd Congressional District.
Dear Neighbor, It has been a busy two weeks indeed since my last newsletter update! Last week, my colleagues and I worked to find common ground and voted to prevent a catastrophic default on our national debt.
Dear Neighbor, I’m excited to announce that last week I re-introduced the Colorado Outdoor Recreation and Economy, or CORE, Act – a bill written by Coloradans for Colorado. For those of you not familiar with this proposal, I’m proud to have led the CORE Act since first coming to Congress in 2019.

Dear Neighbor, It has been great being back in Colorado for April’s District Work Period. I’ve had the pleasure of visiting with many of you as our team hit the road this past week, meeting with folks from across Colorado’s 2nd District and taking part in some outstanding community events, town-halls and more!

I spent the past two weeks in Washington, D.C., working with my colleagues in Congress to take action on issues that matter most to the hardworking people of Colorado’s 2nd District. We are focused on solving real challenges, including lowering costs, creating better paying jobs, and building safer communities.
Dear Neighbor, It has been wonderful seeing so many of you over the past week as we’ve traversed the district, visiting with constituents, small-businesses, local leaders and more. In every interaction, I’m reminded of the work folks are doing to put politics aside and put community first — and I couldn’t be more proud to do the same!
Dear Neighbor, Colorado is home to a robust and thriving outdoor recreation industry, and last week we took major steps to protect this world-class workforce. Starting on Wednesday with the re-introduction of the Continental Divide Trail Completion Act; a bipartisan bill that directs the U.S.
Dear Neighbor, Coloradans know the that the best way to build a better future is to roll up our sleeves, listen to each other & work together. Since first being elected to Congress, my team and I have endeavored to do precisely that — by leading locally, listening to constituents at our frequent town halls and working towards the common good.
